Learn With Matt

Do you know him? What sparked Dream English?

Hi! Matt, the founder of Dream English, introduces himself here. As a musician, songwriter, or teacher, I am my own person. In 2007, I began teaching English to young kids, and I put my musical training and certification creating songs to help them learn the language. In 2009, I started making YouTube videos of my songs so that overseas students could hear them. More than a million people have joined the Dream English Kids Channel on youtube. Thank you so much for your help!

Does it matter that I am fluent in English if I listen to your music?

Yes! People from more than 50 countries visit this site every day, many of whom speak English as their first language. Many English-speaking parents have contacted me to tell me how much their children enjoy the songs.

Why do you make most all of your songs as well as chants freely available download on your website?

In order to promote and sell my music, I created this website. However, I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from people who have downloaded a few of my freebies. Over 30 countries thanked me for posting my rendition of Jingle Bells. In turn, I received an increasing number of thank-you notes for my additional downloads. Many people told me that they can’t afford a CD but that my music is extremely beneficial to them, their students, and their own children. As a result, I’ve decided to offer much more free downloads in the future.

What’s the point of selling a song if you can download it for free?

All of the songs for selling are better quality and do not include the web ad that can be heard on the downloadable content. This website would not be possible without the sales of the these CDs and download packs. Purchase a CD as well as download pack of these songs if you plan to use them frequently with your students. There are many people benefiting from my ability to give aside the songs for free, including myself.

How do I get a free song to my computer?

It’s a breeze! Go to the “Free Downloads” section, select a song you’d like to hear more about, and then click through to the song’s page. The song will be available for download once you arrive at the page, and all you have to do is click on the link to begin the process. The right-click option is required for PC users in order to download and save file. You must first download the song to an mp3 player in burning it to a CD for use in class or at home. The free download of I Tunes is my recommendation if you don’t already have one.

How do you come up with the ideas for your music?

It can take many months to write and produce a single song for Dream English. In my courses with the students, I record a playable demo or play the song on my guitar. As long as it’s perfect for learning, I record it for others to enjoy!

Alboe News

With NewsX A-List as part of an exclusive interview about his love of music & saying “I have been a cellist all my soul I think, I began my childhood having to learn how and where to sing and play the tabla but as slowly grew older, I got into the a lot of rock & different aspects of music,” Alboe said. By the period I was 25, I’d decided that music was the career path I wanted to follow, and I followed up with it. As a producer, that’s where my involvement with the Alboe project began.

Alboe (A Little Bit of Everything) seems to be the stage name of singer-songwriter, music producer, and DJ Vedant Chandra, who is based in New Delhi. His “live” alter-ego has been developing steadily in Alboe over the past few years, with numerous international hit tracks and performances on the City electronic dance scene. The Painter, a 10-track album of melodic electronica, was released on July 23rd.

On his influences, Alboe ” says “I guess it’s all the influences I used over a time and most prominent in modern times are electronic producers who actually perform worldwide, we’re talking about greats like Avici. I was influenced by artists like him, but my training in Indian musical elements, the tabla, this same congo, classical fusion music, and so all my factors that influence and taste v/s my learning combined led to a fusion electropop. While the music and language are both western, there is a strong Indian influence.

“Alboe was an endeavour to encompass the fusion aspect of my genre and it’s a short form for ‘A Little Bit Of Everything,'” he added when asked how they came up with the name. If I were to produce any genre of music in the future, I believe it would fall under the Alboe umbrella. I’m a sucker for acronyms, so I just went ahead and did it.

“It’s my first album, it’s my debut album, and the very first large-scale project which I have released,” he said. To date, it’s been 4 days since the release of the album, titled ‘The Painter,’ and sales have been strong across all music platforms. To some extent, the album represents an amalgamation of all the musical lessons I’ve been taught and influences that have shaped my taste.

Dancy and melodious with disco undertones. So the album is called ‘The Painter’ because it depicts me in my most raw and unpolished state, from which I hope to make progress. When eating certain foods or listening to such music, “people can visualise certain shapes or think of certain colours, and the whole album is centred on the that concept & we attempt to blend colours with the audio in this album,” Alboe said.

“Night of Camp David,” a political thriller of 1965, was reprinted by Vintage Books at the end of last year. Commander-in-Chief Mark Hollenbach slowly unravels throughout the storey. At night, President Hollenbach likes to turn off the lights and speak vehemently about the conspirators surrounding him in his Maryland woods cabin retreat. Pernicious politicians, disloyal appointments, and craven reporters are all targets of his wrath in this book. A Kremlin king named Zuchek has prompted him to remove the United States and Western European friends and unite with him. “No decent citizen had a lot to fear” if he were to tap every phone with in country, he says. We’re looking for thugs, punks, syndicate murders, and drug dealers. For lack of Twitter, he sends psychotic letters instead. Cavanaugh, a Supreme Court Justice, is one of the most important characters. The reprint was cleverly packaged in a black-and-white cover bearing the question, “What Would Happen is if President of the United States of America Went Stark-Raving Mad?”

Fletcher Knebel, the author of the successful syndicated column “Potomac Fever” in the 1950s and early ’60s, turned full-time to fiction in the 1980s. the 20th Amendment, which clarifies the technique for extracting a president who no longer competent to perform his duties, was released at the same time as “Night of Camp David.” For the past 2 years & two months, Potomac Fever had reached new heights; it has been impossible not to think about that critical addition to a Constitution on a regular basis.

Since day one, the Trump administration has been a danger to the rule of law, liberal democracy, as well as the pursuit of truth. Decency, empathy, & psychological stability are all missing from Donald Trump’s demeanour. Last week, Trump’s erratic behaviour was on full display as he unleashed a torrent of tweets, called the wife from one of his senior aides a “whack job,” and raged about late Senator John McCain next to military personnel at an Ohio tank plant, all of which furthered the impression that Trump is unfit for government service.

As a result of this instability, the dangers are unimaginable. “Night of Camp David” defence secretary Sidney Karper remarks about Hollenbach: “It is absolute stupidity to put that man anyplace near the command – and – control machinery.” Party officials and Supreme Court Justices and members of a security apparatus form a secret committee to discuss how to handle the insane President, and a disaster is averted in the novel. With his cooperation in his own deportation, Hollenbach ends up being called “the purest American heart.”

You’ve been selected for the Excellent Alumni in Healthcare campaign. What does this recognition mean to you?

As a member of this campaign, I am grateful to have the opportunity to work alongside so many other inspiring individuals. Pepperdine University chose me, and I hope I can show how essential mental health is along with physical health. A lot of people don’t realise how intertwined our minds and bodies are, and I’m grateful that Pepperdine University taught me and gave me this opportunity.

Describe How You Got To Where You Are Now

This journey hasn’t been a cakewalk, but it has been well worth it. By working at an eating disorder clinic while I was still in school, I was able to get my foot in the door and begin my career. My then-boyfriend (now-husband) introduced me to the power of YouTube during that time, and I saw exactly how misunderstood mental diseases were. He exhorted me to disseminate what little knowledge I had about eating disorders or how to treat them so that others would benefit. Video content that I produced has grown over time because nothing happens in such a vacuum, and I’ve tried to answer viewers’ inquiries by tailoring my films to their needs. Eight years ago, I decided to devote my time & education toward breaking the stigma of mental illness and encouraging individuals who are suffering to get treatment. A million people have joined our community, and it’s still growing! If it weren’t for Pepperdine University, I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything.

Who Has Aided You In Achieving Your Professional Goals?

When it comes to my achievement, my spouse Sean has been a big part of the equation. When I first launched the channel, he was the driving force behind it, and that he has produced every single one of my videos. His patience, kindness, and encouragement have made it possible for me to accomplish so much.

Explain A Lesson You’ve Taken Away From A Difficult Period In Your Professional Or Personal Life.

I’ve learned the most important lesson of all: never quit up. My success as a therapist or YouTuber has been largely due to my perseverance and consistency, even though we’ve all heard this before. In 2017 I was trying to sell an idea for a novel. People frequently don’t know to ask for something they don’t understand, which is why I wrote this book as a type of introduction to mental health. No was the answer in meeting after meeting for my agency and me. However, we persevered, assessing the comments we received in each meeting to see if it was constrictive. It wasn’t until we connected with an editor who fully understood the significance of such a book that we were able to complete “Are you ok? : A Guide to Care for Our Mental Health”. With that editor, I’m already hard at work on my next book, which will be on trauma and launched in December of 2019. So don’t give up, believe in yourself, but you’ll meet a person who sees your genuine worth in the end.

What Do You Have Planned For The Future?

Since starting “Ask Kati Anything,” a podcast in which listeners may ask questions in greater depth, I’ve been working on the manuscript with my next book, which will be about trauma. Every Monday, I post new videos to my YouTube channel in the hopes that they’ll be helpful to someone.
